We have the facilities to record live bands at gigs on 8 track analogue tape.
The band and vocalist(s) are recorded onto tape at the gig, together with ambience and audience reaction.
The tape is then mixed back at the studio and final compression/reverb, etc. is added.
At this point, overdubs can be made to enhance the final mix.
We can help you produce a great "live" album, or demo tracks for potential gigs/promotors/auditions, etc.
Our Mobile equipment includes a Tascam 388, the original "portastudio" using 8 tracks on quarter-inch reel to reel tape.

We use a Behringer Multicom quad compressor for live recordings and our usual range of microphones from the studio - Sure SM57s and SM58s, Sennheiser, EV and AKG.
