We are a small, but perfectly formed, studio setup. The studio room is divided roughly into three areas:
Area1 for guitars, brass, etc.

Area2 for keyboards, harps (gobirons) & vocals.

Area3 (booth) for drums.

Mics used are by Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, EV, Sound-King, Audio-Technica, Oktava, and various others + DI facilities, of course.
The Control room contains a Tascam 16 track recording desk and a Tascam one inch sixteen track tape transport, together with 16 channels of high quality dbx noise reduction. Outboard gear includes TL Audio valve and dbx pre-amps & compressors, dbx and Alesis compressors, XIX, Zoom, spring and acoustic reverbs.

We aim to specialise in recording bands "Live" rather than one instrument at a time. In this way we feel we can capture the "feel" and the "character" of a band more accurately. We have experience of recording Blues and Rock'n'Roll bands and this is mainly the music we like to deal with.
We do not, at present, use any computer music facilities. Mastering is direct to CDR or CDRW.
